La scelta del materiale apporta al sistema un plusvalore. Il Pino Nordico utilizzato infatti cresce alle latitudini della Finlandia Centrale, dove le condizioni climatiche rigide e la crescita lenta permettono al materiale di sviluppare una struttura ad anelli stretti da cui deriva resistenza elevata.\n\nViene utilizzato legname proveniente da foreste certificate FFCS (Finnish Forest Certification System) aderente al PEFC (Program for the Evaluation of Forest Certification schemes), per promuovere e sostenere una costante tutela dell\u2019ambiente attraverso politiche di silvicoltura d\u2019avanguardia.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element Il profilo dei tronchi viene sagomato per aumentare l\u2019attrito, la tenuta alle infiltrazioni d\u2019aria e la stabilit\u00e0 laterale. I primi elementi della parete sono fissati al basamento di fondazione mediante tasselli di acciaio ancorati nel calcestruzzo.<\/p><p>Questa tipologia costruttiva \u00e8 strutturalmente performante grazie alle connessioni tra i tronchi (con elementi di legno o metallici) che rendono la parete simile ad un elemento piano bidimensionale. La sezione viene dimensionata in modo tale che la combustione non ne riduca la resistenza prima di aver permesso la messa in sicurezza degli abitanti. Il legno non sviluppa fumi tossici n\u00e9 opachi durante la combustione.<\/p><p>La tecnica costruttiva associata alla resistenza meccanica e leggerezza (500\u00f7600 kg\/m3) del pino nordico \u00e8 ottimale all\u2019impiego in zone sismiche. Il legno produce effetti benefici sulla qualit\u00e0 dell\u2019aria all\u2019interno delle abitazioni: regola il tasso di umidit\u00e0 rendendo l\u2019ambiente confortevole e rallentando sviluppo di virus e batteri.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tecniche avanzate di progettazione e di informatizzazione, un elevato grado di prefabbricazione e l\u2019identificazione di ogni elemento costruttivo tramite codici permettono una posa in opera rapida e a basso rischio di errore.
